One of my best buddies from college in Santa Barbara was PJ. I was only there for one semester (it was just a transition semester) but we became very good friends. We kept in touch and visited each other several times a year for a few years and somehow lost contact after we both moved a few times. New numbers, new addresses, etc. I remember being upset that I couldn't find her back in 2002 when I got married. They didn't have Google, Facebook, or MySpace back then. Much to my delight, FACEBOOK reunited us a few months ago. I was exstatic! She drove 2 hours from Los Angeles to visit me and my family a few days ago. Not much has changed - we still have very similar likes/dislikes/philosophies. We both had on ZERO make up, despite the fact we had both showered that day. Low maintenace girls! We had a fun and relaxing day catching up - pedicures, lunch, and lounging on my couch talking about life. I am so thankful for facebook and reuniting with good friends =).
