Escondido Christmas Parade

Saturday the 13th we went to the Escondido Christmas Parade. I can't believe it's been going for 57 years. I think I was in it a few times a long long time ago. Must've been for SPHS cheer.
The five mile journey to get there took us about 30 minutes (road rage anyone?) so good thing we arrived and parked at the perfect spot - the finish line! Just in time to see the first float come through.
They lasted in the stroller for all of about 10 minutes
One of my favorites was the team of dancing native Americans.
They had sweet headdresses on.
It was pretty chilly and slightly rainy. Owen was my little barnacle =)
Jack dog loved the few moments of rain. I mean really, this kid can turn anything into a good time. I love that quality!
My darling husband probably wanted to do anything else on the planet but watch a parade. Thanks for braving it - for the one short hour you had in you.
um, what? really?

Looks like we're snow bound, LOL. 45 degrees in Escondido is cold!
