Mike has rediscovered skateboarding. And now he's obsessed. If skating was a drug, he'd be an addict. Apparently he is better now, at age 31, than ever before.
We went to watch for a few minutes after a birthday party the other day. The boys loved it! And I was indeed impressed.

Now this little man has renewed his interest in skating. He is anticipating the day he gets a new helmet so he can join Dad at the skate park. For now he's practicing his toddler x-games skating anywhere we let him... I can't believe what he can do already! We've got to get this kid on a snowboard! Ahhhh, if only mom could join =)

Not to shabby grandpa. It's hard to hear the skating though with all that bible rock in the background. I think backside tails is your next trick.

I watched Mike with Lee last night when she was reading emails. Pretty cool. Mike's doing all the things I dreamed of doing as 30+ yrs old father, but never did. But I did have an old, yellow banana stakeboard and would give my little boys rides down the hill, sometimes 2 or 3 at a times. Glad Mike still has the moves.

you can tell he's older because now he's bright enough to wear a helmet, or maybe it's just because they make you to get into the park
