B is for...

BUNK BED! and those little Baker Boys that are getting so BIG!

Twin mattresses look huge next to their little crib mattresses. Apparently they are great for gymnastics. Jackson showed Owen how to do flips while mom watched with increasing blood pressure...and giggles.

They're in heaven!
Grandma and Grandpa Baker came over for a short visit and the boys had to show off their skills. They invoked extra super special jumping/flying powers by putting on their spiderman and superman costumes.
Good little helpers cleaning up the room for the new beds...they vacuumed and even dusted the baseboards with babywipes.
2 peas in a pod - happy with their new mattresses even if they're only on the floor
Jackson slept on his "big bed" for about a week on the floor until the frame finally arrived.
They practiced going up and down the ladder a million times before actually going to bed. Owen was content to play but not to sleep. When it was time for lights out he went to his room and has every night since. After books, we ask him if he wants to sleep on the bottom and he promptly but happily says, "no!"
Daddy put Jackson to sleep the first night and he was overtired and cranky so didn't even get under the covers, or use his regular pillow. I found him passed out on the bottom. I think I worried him about sleeping on the top the first night - in case he needed to get up to potty - I didn't want him to fall trying to get down in the dark.
He's such a heavy sleeper that I was able to pick him up, switch pillows and tuck him in under the covers =). Heavy sleeping does NOT come in handy when he doesn't wake up to pee pee =(
One day he said, "Hey MOM! Thanks for my new surfer sheets that cost 20 bucks. I like em. I really appreciate it mom." Ha ha ha ha ha. What a sweet kid.
The next day Mommy put him to bed and he choose the top bunk. Slept all night with no accidents - yippee!
I went in to check on him a million times before I fell asleep though - my baby on the TOP BUNK! What a big boy!
I never had a bunk bed, so I'm stoked they're so happy about it... hopefully some day Owen will sleep (all night!) on the bottom.

I can't believe your boys are big enough to do bunk beds. So when is Owen joining him?
