Dinner and a Movie

When I was single I went to the movie theater - ALOT. Mike appeased me when we were dating and we went occasionally or at least monthly. After we got married he let me in on his secret - he HATES the theater! So in the last 4 years we have been about 3 times. Now that my baby is 3 years old, I've found a new movie buddie! I'm so excited.... except for the cost. Note to self: only see matinee movies and try and find coupons.

A very excited mommy and Jackson off to his first movie

we got our tickets and Jackson found the entrance - "this way mom!"
he quickly gave the ticket to the man and ran back to my side
but as soon as we got inside he started running... he was so excited!
we had 20 minutes to play, so we bought some candy and played a few games

Time for the show
Little man patiently holding the sour patch kids... my movie indulgence. So yummy while going down but painful for a few days after! They really eat up your tongue. So yummy and sour though =)
a few candies in he started to get excited
he was on the edge of his seat (literally) during the previews
About 20 minutes into the movie he said, "I'm all done Mom." I tried to explain that the movie wasn't over and then decided maybe he just needed a break. We went 'potty' and returned to the movie. He sat on my lap and we had a great time. The movie was really good - maybe even better than the first.
I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT!
After the movie we were famished and got some Mexican food before heading home. What a great little date - me and my buddy. Love you Jack!
