Lakeview Park

A little gem is hidden in San Marcos, California - it is Lakeview Park. Click the link to see pics of the playground - this post is not about the playground, but the surrounding area. However, we do love to play there - it even has room to ride a bike which is very important for little boys. We play in the water fountain, sand, and playground. There is plenty of shade and areas to sit for parents that are close to all the activities.
It has been a favorite of ours since Jackson was moving.
After we play and eat, we go for a stroll

A little sibling rivalry
But mostly good times and lots of laughter

the path leading away from the park toward Discovery lake
LOVE the dirt trail for running
beautiful scenery

little dock where people go to feed the ducks
by the time we get to the path on the north side...
little buddy #2 (aka: Owen, Owie, O-Dog, Owie-Doggie, Fussbucket, etc.) has crashed out
and big buddy #1 (Jackson, J-Bone, Jack-Dog, Crazy Man, etc.) is happy to cuddle him
and my heart melts as he caresses his little blonde head and says,
"it's ok buddy, I'm right here. you can napper buddy."
We go around a few times and say good bye to the ducks
and then it's time for a nature pee-pee lesson from Big Buddy to Little Buddy before we head home for a real nap

Your boys are getting so stinkin' cute. I can't believe how grown up they are. Did you get a new jogger?
