I went to a movie and I have proof! My sister in law Brooke met me in Mira Mesa... it was packed! Good thing for movie trailers =)
We boldly asked the ticket guy to take our picture... he had a hard time figuring out how long to press the button. I laughed and gave him some excuse why I was being lame and asking for a picture but he reassured me it happens all the time. Huh, that's weird.
Here we are fresh faced and excited to see Fireproof with Kirk Cameron. Good thing we took the shot before the movie because we were both crying and didn't look so cute at the end =)
It was a little cheesy at times - OK maybe more than a little - but Kirk was great and it was wholesome and had a great message. It was very inspiring and encouraging. We both wanted to get a copy of the Love Dare book they used in the movie - well, as it turns out they actually made one! Now we can all rekindle our marriages! I'm totally buying it. We DEFINITELY need to do that more often. It was SO great! Thank goodness for wholesome movies that make us want to be better!
Fun, I was going to ask you how it was. I tend to like clean/cheesey movies so I'm sure I'll love it! :)
Our Pastor and his wife recommended this movie at Church on Sunday. Glad to hear it was good overall - I'll have to check out that book!
