Father's Day at the Beach

My present to Mike was a ticket to the US OPEN! Seriously great father's day present right? Right! Too bad it wasn't my idea... it was his business partner's wife's idea, I just shelled out the dough. Oh well, he was stoked no matter who came up with the idea. So while he gets to watch Tiger Woods, I sit in front of the computer - nice. Can't complain too much though because we had a very nice morning at the beach and I'm enjoying the silence of napping kids. Mike went surfing early this morning and then met us at Moonlight in Encinitas.

Muscle man drinking his 'Muscle Milk Light'
(not really - it was empty)
Jackson was bored of just me and every time a kid walked passed us he said, "hey you! come play with me!" and some times, "hey girl, come here!" OH MY! I'm in big trouble! So I told him we could go down closer to the water and find some kids to play with. There was a very nice family with 2 boys and some trucks that they loved to play with until we left. Who said toddlers weren't social? MINE ARE!
my mom has been begging for more video so I made sure to take a few...

Even though Jackson was wild and crazy and knocked Owen over a few times, he loved playing in the water with the other kids and the trucks. The sand stuck very nicely on his chest where he spilled his juice =)

Happy Father's Day!

cool Robin, I love the videos of the boys in action! What a great gift for Mike, I would love to see Tiger win today, he had a remarkable round yesterday after starting with a double bogie!
