August Rush

I watched this movie on my DVR last night while getting a massage on my fabulous massage chair... and I LOVED IT! There were tons of LOVED IT and HATED IT reviews. It was a cute, clean movie (hard to come by, right?) and had great music. I come from a family of professional musicians so it was very interesting to me... plus, what girl doesn't love a great love story - and even better between a mother/father and their son. If you get a chance, watch it!

FILM SYNOPSIS Evan, a musically gifted eleven-year-old raised in a New York boys home, runs away to seek his birth parents and is soon living in an abandoned theater with a group of street urchins and their leader, the Fagin-like Wizard, who plans to exploit Evan's talent. Unbeknownst to Evan, his parents are nearby, both living in Manhattan and unable to forget the brief encounter years ago that led to the boy's birth.
