Special Delivery

I knew it was coming. I was waiting…but going on with my day at home with the kids. I walked out from putting Gavin down for his afternoon nap and found a box at the door. what’s in the box?

one DSLR camera with high definition video. one zoom lens. and a few included extras.

this is no point and shoot. the sucker is heavy.  

torture = new camera and no battery to operate it. I waited 3 hours until it was fully charged

and finally. yes finally. went outside with new camera in hand

fooling with all those buttons and settings

one happy lady! maybe I shed a tear and that’s why my make up is smeared on the right eye? not sure but didn’t want to PS it out. I like it RAW. REAL. Wrinkles and all.

Hmmmm, I feel whole again ;)
