On this night it was just little Owen and I. Mike was out of town and Jackson fell asleep in the car on the way home from Preschool. Yes, at 5:30pm. And yes, he slept through the night in his dirty jeans…for 12 hours. Amazing little guy. Um, yes, I changed the sheets the next day! Ewww.
Back to Chanukkah. Owen loves to be solo. He is very very very well behaved one on one. It’s like an angel has taken over his little ornery body and transformed him to the perfect child. Ok, ok, he’s not that perfect. But it is a very dramatic difference so I cherish these one on one times.

God has truely blessed you Robin! Just believe me, you have more than your portion of Holy Spirit inspired home making, baby making and beauty making abilities! I wish I had 1/10th of your talents!
I always "wanted" to do Chanukkah. There might be some left over Catholic rebellion that's held me back. I now know there are good things about symbols and tradition but...anyway these photos are so lovely. Print some out so Owen can show his children some day.
Merry Christmas to you and your clan (Hi Mike, Hi Jack, Hi Owen, Hi Gavin), Love ya, Rosie
