Back to School

This is the start of Jackson's second year at Pre-School. Since he was 2 1/2, he begged to go... so I let him at 3 yrs. He loves Grace Lutheran School and all his friends/teachers. This year his teacher is Ms. Matos, whom he bonded with last year in the mornings before the official day began. He was excited to see her again after being gone all summer (with me on Maternity leave and 2 days/wk at the babysitters).

His classroom is called "the Lighthouse room"

I stayed for a little while to watch. He got right down to business - his favorite thing - painting.
I have got to get some of those smocks! Ingenious.

I love this man he made with orange hair. Too bad he eventually got covered up by paint.

This year they have to take their name (on the bear) with them during free play and put it on the designated chart for the activity. It's to prevent 4 year old fights and teach them how many people can do each acitivity at a time.
