Due to our increasing family size, we need a bigger car. I love my Toyota Avalon, but it just can not fit 3 carseats. Soooo..... we've entered into the next stage of life - Mini-Van mom-mobile. Mike made an awesome deal and we scored this 2008 Toyota Sienna for just $70 more dollars a month than the 2002 Avalon! NICE! That's just one less visit from the house cleaners per month =)

The boys yell, "Thanks Dad!"

Only 20,000 miles and over 10k cheaper than brand new

Nice extras: 6 disc changer and iPod jack

mysterious hook: good for hanging my purse and camera - the esentials

Auntie Sharon dropped me off at the dealer so I could finish the paperwork Mike started the night before and came home with the boys to play. When I arrived they all hopped in to check it out. She was lovin' all the upgrades since she had her mini-van 20 years ago. I believe leather is a must, especially for moms with kids - food, milk, puke, ew! You

checkin' out the 2nd row: Jackson thinks he is a very big boy and doesn't need a car seat. Ya right - maybe when you're 6!

Off they go to the 3rd row

Nice rear end

The "apartment" in the back of the 3rd row

When you lay the 3rd row down there is enough room to camp out!

Ready for our first trip to the store to pick up soom loot
(even though it was naptime - oops! How could I say no?)

After nap we checked it out some more when Dad got home from work.
Perspective: double stroller doesn't even take up an inch!

Owen cristens the car with a lovely smell
"I poopoo my diaper Mommy. Ha ha!"
He taunts me b/c he knows he should use the potty.

Mike shows Jackson what happens if you close the electric sliding doors on your arm

OUCH?

Nope! It's like an elevator and won't shut if there is something in the way =)
Mike test drives the car down a windy road... much faster than I like.
Bonus: we got to feed the ducks at the end of the crazy ride

Mom, can I drive now?

Some day honey... some day very very very far away (shudder).
Thanks Mike! We love it!
And yes, I see pigs flying in the sky...

SOOOOOO fun! I love it!! And what a great deal!! I love the mysterious hook, who doesn't need or want one of those?! Oh and so jealous over all the space for your jogging stroller! Some day I'll get a mom mobile and I'll be stoked!
Look at you! That is awesome. But I must admit, it does seem funny to think of you driving it. You hardly seem the mom-mobile type. Much too cool Rob. But unlike you loving your avalon, I will be so happy to finally ditch my CRV for a mini-van. Family of 5 here you come!
