We are so excited for Christmas this year we are counting down the days!
In the kitchen we've got a Veggie Tales advent calendar.
You move a little candy cane into each number as the days pass.

But is ONE count down enough? Not this year! I'm feeling very crafty these days =). This morning we made a chain out of Christmas themed scrapbook paper for count down #2.
Cut 2" strips
let 3 year old help
assemble the order you want them in
staple strip together to make a circle
add more to make a chain
go get a stapler that is easier...
keep going until you have 25 links (we did 30 and then ripped some off for fun)
I couldn't figure out where to put the chain... so for now it resides next to our stockings
