Labor Day

We love the beach. I especially love it on overcast and slightly cold days so we can wear sweats and hoodies. We went to North Jetty at the Harbor in Oceanside on Labor Day. It was great!


Owen had fun playing catch with Daddy

Even though it was cloudy and semi-cold, the boys were content to play in the sand.
Dad built a 'sand chair'

MOM! The sun is coming out... let's go in the water!
So we all changed out of our sweats and into our suits... the water was perfect.

Owen was tasting the salt water... or was it the sand? Not sure.


It takes Owen about 20 minutes to warm up to any situation....
... but then he happily played in the waves like a big boy

Yeah Owen! We all congratulated him on being so brave in the water.

Jackson wanted to try body surfing today instead of boogie boarding, and he loved it.
Serious silliness = tired babies.


Time for a nap. Thanks for a great day at the beach!

So, so much fun! We haven't been the beach since Owie's b-day and I'm not sure we will make it back this year....sad:(
