Soccer

Mike is playing indoor soccer again with his brother-in-law James. I used to be able to attend the games when Owen was an infant, but ever since he decided that 7pm was his bedtime, it has been impossible to take the boys. Not to mention that they've been having 9pm games! That is too late for me =). This game happened to be on a Saturday at 6pm... the boys took a long late nap, so it worked out great! Mike was really happy to have us and the boys had a great time playing around with their Thomas the Train ball.Watching from the stands... Owen didn't like the sound of the metal clunking under his feet so he didn't walk much on it. Jackson was great! He was yelling at the players and commenting on the action, "OH MAN, momma! He went boom and bonk! Aaahhh!" It is so fun every day to see their cognitive development blossom.
"I play soccer with my Dad, Mom!" Jackson kept telling me as they were running around in the dirt with their ball. Owen was mainly walking around and watching Jackson RUN, but he tried to run and kick the ball a few times.
He was really happy when he found this little stick.
It was hard to get pics of the game because there is a thick plastic barrier to protect the fans that the sun was glaring off of...and then (of course) I had to watch the boys closely.

Mike scored a goal! Good job Dad, high five!

So fun! Looks like Jack and Owen had a great time. And how great that you all got to see Mike play. It's always nice to have fans there to watch you play.

They are all boy! I love the blurry pic of Jackson runnning full speed. I'm surprised all of your pics of those boys aren't blurry. They are always on the go.

So much fun! So the blocks are super easy! You get a 4X4 at Home Depot and cut them 3 1/2 inches a part. Sand them down really good. Paint the blocks with tole paint. Cut your pictures out, I used spray adhesive to glue the pics down first. (If you don't glue them down first they curl up after time) Then I mod podged over the top of them. We actually did those for mother's day and on top they say "Happy Mother's Day 2008" I just made a 3.5x3.5 square on my computer then typed it in the square, and then ran cute scrap book paper through the computer. I didn't show the top because my mom looks at my blog, and I wanted it to be a surprise for Mother's Day.

Hey will you please tell Nicole Watkins to add us, so we can be blogger friends! David would be so excited, I tried to get on theirs and it's blocked. Thanks!
